Went out sunday morning and hit the creek close to my brother-n-law work. Ended up catching 7 and only keeping five. Ended up give them away to someone there. Was in the creek at 10am got most with in the hour. All on "grasshopper jig" that I made. Just the Color is a little different then Jiggum. Marc should be posting pic of the catch later on today.

fished for an hr yesterday and pulled in 3 crappie and six sandies. sandies were 10-12 inchers and the crappie were all small with one being 12 inches.

anthony its probably pretty muddy because yesterday afternnon the water was high on the lake banks .of course it went down over night at the lake but the creek should still be murky

I went today for about 2 hours and got 1 good bump. Saw only one fish caught but it was a keeper. It needs to get ALOT colder. The water was pretty clear but had more current than usual. I just explored the creek.

fishsif most people use small bobbers ( with stoppers ) for better casting accurracy in tight spots .but you can fish without bobber when they are more agrressive . the slip bobber technique allows you to keep the jig in the strike zone longer tho . if you are fishing off the bridge straight down you dont need bobber .

if you are fishing a creek that has more the 4 feet a slip bobber is ideal . can you imagine throwing a jig an bobber trying to fish 8 feet down in 9 ft of water ? you can buy some stops or use a rubber band for a stop .sorry cant help you in ft worth spots
