GOT HERE AT 2 AND ON THE WATER BY 3. WINDY AND COLD. IT WAS 50 DEGREES AND ABOUT 15 TO 20 MILE AN HOUR WIND. UNLOADED AT BLACK BRUSH AND WENT ACROSS TO EVENS CREEK. CAUGHT ACOUPLE DINKS ON TOPWATER THERE. CAME BACK AROUND TO MOUTH OF DEVILS AND CAUGHT 6, 2-3 LBERS ON TRICKWORMS. (ZOOM REDBUG PEGGED) THEY WERE ON THE EDGE OF GRASSLINE IN ABOUT 10 FT. MY SON CAUGHT ACOUPLE ON TX RIGGED WATERMELON RED TRICK STICKS. NOTHING GOOD ENOUGH TO BRAG ABOUT BUT WE WILL TRY AGAIN IN THE MORNING. SHOULD BE LESS WIND SO MAYBE CAN WORK SOME DEEPER POINTS ON MAIN LAKE.
TEAMBIGSTICK, I'm jealous. Wish I were still there. Our better fish were caught in 25 to 30' on jigs (watermelon/purple) and c-rigs large 12" worms (motoroil red and pbj). Hope you and your son catch a big one!

TEAMBIGSTICK, after todays nasty little cold front tommorow the wind will be down and most likly bright skys if your bite gets tough try sliding to the verticle drops on the points and dropping a spoon. alot of times following a front like this that gets you a few more bites and can produce some good fish.

We caught 45 bass on sat. all in 10-20 ft. mainly on trickworms. Caught stripers schooling about a mile up river past cow creek.(that was fun) Sunday was slow but bigger fish. Fished until noon and my best 5 went 15 lbs. My son had 4 fish about the same average. (rough canyon)
