Will the small front kill fishing for LargeMouth at Choke?

I didnt keep up with the weather or look at the lake levels, but I bet they got some serious rain.

It was tough fishing today!!! The only fish that I caught was on a scrouger head with a swimbait body. The morning started out beautiful but then the clouds and wind moved in and it was cold out there. The water was dirter than usual. Overall tough day. The catfish were not even bitting that good. That says it all.

Bear in mind that year round we have fronts pass about once a week, sometimes more often...so if you limit your fishing to just before a frontal passage you'll only fish about 2-3 days a week. Forget about the fronts and tell yourself the truth...every day someone is catching fish...you may come in blaming the front on your bad day, but how do you explain that dude that has a big sack?

GO WACKY... I like your attitude! I too believe a bad fishing day for one is another guys best day! It all depends on your ability to find the fish that are biting at that particular time. Learn something every time you go! We all have bad days some more than others but just remember one thing and your gonna be fine....

You were lucky to have been on the water that day!!

Well it was as bad as expected. Our club had a tourny there Sat/Sun and 10.8 won it. We have some pretty respectable fish finders in our group and we couldn't find them. Yes it was better than work but that was about it.
