I would be hard pressed not to buy that 08 Cougar FTD that Tommy has...if you just can't get past the color. I would look for a 1 year old Puma FTD.

If you want a new boat and don't care about the speed and comparing something to a Ranger than the Pantera IV is going to be more like the R boat you are looking at.

You gonna sheet or get off the pot wink laugh

I have a question. I have owned two Skeeter bass boats and loved them both. Same goes for my old Terry Bass.

But what can a bass boat offer that a good center console bay boat cant?

Dont say shallow water running because that's simply not true.
The CC carries more people more comfortably. It handles rough water better. It has more room and more storage if you get the right model. It's cheaper. It's safer too.

About the only thing I can see is speed. But several of them easily run 60+ MPH, with the right set up. If you need more than that to fish, then your interest is not just fishing....it's acting like an idiot on the lake.

Frog that is like saying if you make over $60,000 a year you are doing more then living and your interest are more then living......it's acting like an idiot infront of everyone else.

Allison XB21 Bassport Pro. Used for 40k.

They sold one for 45k new this last summer. Most go 50k plus.

Yeah frog, a 24 Haynie HO with a 250 will run 60+ and sell used for around 38, nice boats, but I would go with a 23 Big Foot, still a 50+ boat and one of the smoothest riding performance shallow running boats

Ok...try this. You can take 8 women along in a Kenner 23VX. And you can hide among the narrow cypress trees where party barges cant fit. Try that with a bass boat. banana
