How bout a Big Bass Fun / Big Red Fun Tournament at Lake Fairfield that wins all the Cash $$$ in January ya'll ???

It would be your choice as a paid BBFT angler to weigh your biggest Bass or Redfish for 1st place , along with lots of prizes for 2nd-7th place

Just a thought as we are always wanting to expanding our BBFT Ideas & Horizons

example 50 anglers @ a $20 entry per angler would = a $1,000 Big Red or Bass

We need to do 2 seperate pots, the bbft tradition is biggest bass wins. Redfish can out grow bass by quite big margin. Just tryin to keep it fair.

They even have different min length...

You could not conceivable weigh a red next to a bass and have a fair and equal competition. Cannot measure apples to oranges, LMB and Channel Bass will weigh differently every time,

We would do one pot for biggest fish , keep it simple and for only $20 your choice bass or red

Just think of them ol Redfish as being a sub species like spotted bass or smallmouths to L/M bass ,

And then all will be fine in your big fish mind

i dont agree with red's being weighed. thats a disadvantage. thats like saying you can weigh in a striper versus a spotted bass. red's are so much thicker than largemouth.
