Weightless chart/pepper Rattlesnake works well for me. Is that a Pourman jig in the bottom picture? If so those things are KILLER. Texas Smoke is my favorite

Kinami plam tree tube with a 4/0 or 5/0 wide gap. Easy to see.

I did pretty good on RH beds with the LFT Ring Fry in chart/pepper

also did suprisingly well bangin a sexy shad shallow crank across the beds.

Even small fish will try to destroy it.

evan you can throw that white jig as long as it isn't the same one you were throwing last spring during jc outdoors. and i know you touched my drumset.

8" T'rigged Zoom magnum lizard.... My biggest girl this year(8.3) wouldn't touch anything, I almost gave up but I decided to try to intimidate her with a 10" power worm... Destroyed it on the first cast! I'm with Jayingrapvine, a perch imitator is hard to beat too...

I think more then anything, this proves bed fish will eat just about anything.

small tube, weight inside it, white/charturse, or a small minnow type imatation about a 1/4 oz one, in any color, just cant rember the name of it

Probalby caught more on a jig or T rigged worm/lizard than anything. Caught a lot with tube jig with Fizzy or alka-seltzer, havent seen Fizzy's in a long time, but Alka-Seltzer or as we used to say back in Oklahoma (Alkeselser). Caught a lot on traps too in skinny water with hard bottoms. If you hit um at the right time they will hit about anything I guess.

That little Storm Rubber Swimbait or whatever (I have some just can't remember the brand) someone posted above should be good, I havent used them on bedding fish, but they get a lot of strikes and will catch fish. I can't seem to remember to use them, but I would have to say those small swim baits are probably under rated.
