I couldn't get it to go!! It just kept saying searching for signal. So I don't know if the little deal you tie on is no good or what's up. The guy that loaned it to me has a boat and this thing was leftover from his days on the bank. I guess I'll go to Hummingbird and see if I can find any trouble shooting guides. Maybe it needs a new thingy you tie on your line. My command of technical jargon is impressive isn't it?

Went out there last weekend for about an hour. There were two groups of duck hunter near the damn. I managed a nice 2 lber on a crankbait and that was it. I didn't want to disturb them so I left.

Ya know there was one lonely little duck out there all summer long. Not too long ago I saw he had a friend. When I was there the other day it was back to one little duck. It made me sad. Me and that duck spent a lot of hours co-existing out there. I hope he makes it through the season. I'll see if I can find my picture of the two of them.

Any of you ever fish the smaller tank, south side of the levy? I went up there about three years ago,and put my 2man boat in there and caught several 5 lb bass. They must stock them, because ive saw that one dry before, i fished it.I used to run my coon hounds in those woods around there.

That's Little Cottonwood right? I fished it a couple times. It was pretty low at the time. I fished up at Dan's on Wednesday but had major gear issues so it was a bust all the way around. I am gonna head up there this weekend weather permitting. I get stuck at Clear Lake a lot. Maybe I'll break out of the mold and go....nah. Who am I kidding? I'll be at Clear Lake. I did find the Hummingbird site and I may have to order a new thingy to tie on my line for that finder to work. The guy I borrowed it from will be back next week and he said he'd look at it first. Just an FYI there.

If you fly fish Windmill Lake is flyfishing only. It's a little north of Alvord which is the next town up from Decatur.
