11-19-09 took out Jimmy Watson and friends kind of a slow day second fish was the 45 pounder had 27 other fish from 3 to 18 pounds one big bite all day and the rest were just good eating sizes all in all wonderful day big fish photographed and released

i think the slot is opset what it should be myself it should be one allowed in the slot 24 under the slot. anything over should be released without question. in my mind anything over is our true trophy fish. don't kill him for being huge. that's just my thoughts

yeah that makes sense to me too. I guess any slot is better than nothing at all. I never catch any that fit in or are bigger than the slot so not really an issue for me. I enjoy eating the 12-18in fish they fry up so crispy!

i'm with you david ! a blue needs to reach 4-5 yrs old to have fertal eggs so the 15lb and up fish are the ones restocking the lakes if i am understanding it right!i am infavor of leaving the brood stock in the lake !

I've been keeping tabs on David for some time now seems as if he always comes out with a great day. I've been wanting to book a trip for a long time finally got one booked. Will let ya know how it ends up. Pretty sure will be good.

Glad to see so many folks FINALLY realizing that the large fish should be released!!! If we don't it will be like bass when the tournry explosion happened and the fishing pressure got ssoooo heavy. we will fish for days and STILL not catch a bigun.let them go after taking a pic and let someone else enjoy the fight on another day!!!It is so simple and you can carry a pic around for years!!!! and it really makes ya feel good to see a big one swim away ....trust me !!!

There is no reason to keep a big fish in todays times I yoused to keep them to show my friends . Now you can take a picture & even take that to Taxedermy man & get a mount.. If you dont take care of your stuff it want be there tommorow..---Good fishin--MIKE
