If you love to eat those fine white perch now is a great time to book a trip with us for crappie fishing.
I went yesterday up one of the feeder creeks,

and caught a limit quickly using minnows on a tight line.

The bite is fast and soon I was fishing with one rod to keep up with them.

jwfos22 I was fishing a bend in the creek that was 17' in the deepest spot. The fish were all up and down the water column, Most bites at 6 to 8'. For a long time a minnow tail on the fly rod was the big catcher, then a spinning rod with whole/live minnow turned on for the rest.
