While no one pays MSRP, I bet you'll be within spittin' distance totally loaded out with top end electronics, and all the extras.

I'm betting it will be $60k+. They will probably sell the SHO for $4-5k+ more than a comparable 2 stroke.

not me - been there done that with skeeter. Too many quality issues in my experience. Don't get me wrong, it was a good boat just had some quality concerns and they need to work on customer service.

If I had deep pockets, I'd order one today. Problem is, I don't have pockets.

They are going to price them self out of the market. Probably not totally. Truth be told people will pay it. If someone had asked me 5 years ago if I would be willing to pay 35K for a boat, I would have told them they were smoking some serious crack. Today? Hmm that sure is one pretty bass boat hooked up to my truck.....

No one pays MSRP, that may be true, MSRP has killed free enterprise. Most rods, reels, etc are the same price at every store, with the manufacture printing the MSRP on the label used as the price tag for the store. If I buy from the manufacturer at cost, I should be able to sell for what ever I want.
As for boats, I was in the market for new about two years ago, Went to all the dealers, with cash in hand for down, an little or no budge on the price. Finally bought used.
I think I will wait until the first wave or repo Skeeters after people tire of the 800 month or better boat payment. But, I still want one.

It's amazing how the price of bass rigs have climbed since 2002! ack in 2002 I attended the Kansas City Sports & Outdoor Show and Champion had their '02 model "Harley Davison" edition that was amazing.....the sticker was $24K !

I might take a closer at that Skeeter if it were priced closer to $68-69k, but $71k...... out of my league!

All most of us really need is a floatable front deck, variable speed MK trolling motor with maximizer, and a running OB. It's like Grand Daddy said:"Pay small;Lose small".

I don't see anyone financing 71k for a boat....If you are rich and can pay cash more power to you, but I just don't know why you would want to pay that much for a moveable dock!

I don't believe Yamaha had much choice on their 2 strokes.. Merc and E-Tec might hang in awhile longer. They still meet the Regs.
