Guys winter is right around the corner. For some this is a favorite time of year, for other...the worse. Whats your view on winter bass'n?

Love the Winter fishing times. On Natural lakes the fish are working closer to each other as their food source is bunched up more and on Power plant lakes the Spawn is in full swing... AWESOME Time of Year.

Ya'll must live on small lakes, I like it but there are a lot less times when I can go because of weather. Thats my only complaint. Rayburn gets ocean like with a NW wind.

i have always seemed to catch bigger fish in the winter. so i would have to say that i love the winter fishing

IM a big fan of winter fishing. Bassin OR crappie.. whatever. Less traffic, less goons on the water. . .

Neutral. Like Spring and fall. Summer and Winter can be extreme. I don't hate anytime I can fish.

Nothing like going to the ramp and not seeing all of the pleasure boats taking up space.
Power plants and fishing in a fog just seems to bring goose bumps on my neck and my focus improves.
Then when the cold water lakes hit pre-spawn your skills are in top shape.
I love Texas weather, what winter?

When I fished a lot, Fall was my best time. I liked spring also fishing for bedding fish. Hot summer and cold winter I seemed to do the worst.
Winter time, big lakes and north wind are not my deal, I filled a boat dang near full to the brim on Falcon in 1981, scared the wee wee of of me, I still to this day havent got over it. When it gets bad windy and cold I will stay home and watch a ball game.

I love winter fishing. Lots of fishermen are by the fire and I've got more space to do my thing. Come on winter.

The best times to bass fish is when its raining and when its not. Not sure I understand the question I guess...

I just wished we had more power plant lake to fish. Because the one's that we have are packed. But with that being said very good time for the OLD BLACK/BLUE 1/2oz JIG.

I love fishing the winter months on rayburn and T-Bend, but have to agree with Todd, Rayburn can get brutal with a NW wind
