Day 4 on lake Falcon started off with winds from the southeast at 5-10 MPH.
We started fishing in areas we had success on the prior day in the mid lake area near Beacon Lodge.
This was the best total weight day we had thus far and the first time I beat Jose in the bass fishing challenge. We also had a double and busted the 20lb stringer mark for the first time.
Jose started the morning off with a 5.11 and I followed with a 3.07 and a 2.15 in the same area. From there we made a milk run to multiple area's with similar structure not spendning more the 20 minutes in any one place unless we caught a fish. This proved to be the ticket as we both caught some nice stringers. Jose weighed in a 5.01, 1.15, 4.13, 3.13 & 4.03 for 19lbs 13oz and finished the day with 9 bass, I weighed in 3.07, 2.15, 2.14, 2.06 and a 8.08 for 20lbs 6oz and ended up with 8 fish.
New Big Bass (8lbs 8oz)for the trip.

2nd day without a broken rod.
We have guide Jim Edwards lined up for tomorrow, expectations are high and we look to have our first 30lb 5 fish bag. Jim is going to have us fishing deep ledges for the elusive 10 lb bass. Hopefully the weather will cooperate and allow us to fish, high north/northeast winds and storms are in the forecast.
I must say if you ever come to Lake Falcon you must go by and see James at Falcon Lake Tackle, he has every color you will ever need when it comes to plastics and is eager to share his local knowledge to help make your trip more enjoyable, not to mention he is a good o'boy!
We ran out of the super double top secret color and made a call to James from the lake to see if he had it in stock, he said yes and stayed open late until we could get there. I guess we should have never expected less with the TFF sticker on the front door!
