I'm wanting to go up to Roberts tomorrow if I can find someone to share gas and expenses with. Because of the cold weather I'm thinking about getting to the ramp (Jordan) in the early afternoon (10-11'ish). Sorry for the short notice. I'm hoping the cold front didn't change things too much. Caught about 100 fish over sat. and sunday. If you want to go send me a PM. I will check it before I go to bed and first thing in the morning.

Took a guy by the name of Lewis out with me to ray roberts yesterday. We caught about 30-40 sand bass and I caught one big blue. Man, that was fun!! Thanks for going with me Lewis and a bigger THANKS for getting the big blue in the boat.

ps...fish caught in 30 ft.

Weston

Nope,
Try www.photobucket.com, create a new free account, upload the pic, you can select for it to automatically reduce it to 800x600 pixils. Once it's uploaded just place your mouse over the pic, a pop-down menu will appear with lots of codes. Go to the IMG code, rt click and copy, then paste the code into your post. I've always had good luck with photobucket. thumb

Cold weather??? confused
Or is it that you just want to sleep in?

Come on and fess up....

When you have to dunk your rod under water and swish it around to get the ice out of the eye's, it's cold. When you have to beat your bait tank to knock off the ice so that you can open it up, it's cold.
The low for tonight, 50 degress = not cold.

laugh

That morning was 2 days after the cold front came in and was the coldest morning of the season so far. In Ft. Worth it was 38 at 8:15 when I got up so yeah I'm sure it touched or got really close to 32 degrees that morning in Pilot Point. Yeah thats cold for me. Plus, this time of the year I really don't think you catch anymore fish that early in the morning, in fact, its been my experience that the fish don't really start biting til it starts warming up a little. Not to mention we have a 6.5 month old boy and some night its hard to get him to go to bed and setting a alarm for 4:30-5:00 didn't really appeal to me.
However, you are correct. 50 is not that cold but I consider mid to low 30 cold.
