Fished choke from around 11 to dark. Put in at 99 and had a very tough day. Weather conditions made it seem like the perfect day for fishing. Had a few bites but only landed one fish around 1.5 lbs on a texas-rigged red bug power worm in 10 ft by heavy timber. Tried everything from traps to shallow cranks, brush hogs, worms, wacky rigged senkos, spoons and even a rooster tail. Hope the fishing gets better soon...

Yeah it has been tough fishing the past month!!!

we went yesterday also. my fishin buddy managed 5 fish on a crank early. all fish were 1.5 - 2.5#. I stuck one fish on a crank about 4-5#s but he hung me up on a dank stick & spit the hook near the boat. switched to some TX rigged plastics & did pretty well to wrap the day up with 20 fish boated. we lost a couple of nice fish & had a good time. We saw one BIG ARSE Gator & tried to get some pics of him but I don't think my buddy got any good ones. This dude was huge, every bit of 12 1/2 Feet & WIDE across the back. All in all we had a good time & enjoyed the great weather & time on the water.
