As I pulled up to the parking lot next to the WRC bridge at W Lawther and Goforth this afternoon, as I opened the door to get out of my van, I see this:

There is still ice in the bag, they look fresh caught, and there are 4 of them in the bag, all legal size, in fact, nice sized sandies!
Best guess is that someone was packing up to go, throwing gear into their car/truck and just went off and left it!
Also speaking of things in the parking lot, although this is much more pleasant, I met, for the first time in the flesh, the TFF sandbass and flyfish guru known as Tarponfly! Very nice fella! Good folks!
On a more somber note, these last several days have not been kind to me as far as catching crappie is concerned. Yesterday I went out in my boat to visit my sunken christmas trees in Bachman, and caught only 4 in almost 3 hours of hard fishin'. This was the only keeper:

Not much better, recently at night with only these keepers in the last few nights. LOTS of dinks, but the big ones are keeping away from me!:

I have total confidence it will get better for me, but until then, . . .
