Yes I know there is a Dfw hotspots post. There seems to be few actual Fort Worth spots outside of anything concerning the trinity river. So my question is does anyone have any good fishing holes in fort worth besides trinity river? Does not have to be honey comb hideout just a decent hole. I would be up for meeting a member at one of these holes no matter to me grab 6 buddies and think we will be alright. At any rate any info would be appreciated, just transferred down here from Pennsylvania have been out of fishing for a few years.

You could try
Marine Creek lake Loop 820 West @ Marine Creek Pkwy - I haven't had much luck there yet but I have only tried Lure fishing so far and I'm a bank beater, it might help if I had a boat.
Little Fossil Creek I35 @ Western Center Blvd - I fish this often and usually catch a bass or two but there is a lot of construction going on here and it's interfering with my fishing right now...I wonder what they are building.
Alliance Airport I 35 N @ Alliance Blvd - I have caught a few Bluegill/Greenies on the ponds out here.
Clear Fork Trinity river 183 S/Southwest Blvd at Ridglea Country Club Dr - I have only fished this once and had moderate success, I caught a handful of Juvenile Bass.
Unknown Lake/Pond I20 Service rd @ Bryant Irvin Rd...City Lake Blvd -no clue what the name is but it has Bass and Turtles lots of Turtles!
Lake Worth Creek Silver Creek Rd @ Heron Dr - I have tore it up on this creek during the Spring, fishing for Sandies. This past weekend I caught an 8lb Cat, two 3 Lb Bass with Live minnows under a bobber.
And Finally Tx Parks and Wildlife, list of community fishing holes...Scroll down to Tarrant County.

I will give these places a shot thanks Mike. Is the unknown one behind Saltgrass?? I live near Hulen and seen a post about a spot behind Saltgrass. Really appreciate the info just don't want to drive 45 min to do a little fishing when I get a break. Between work and kids and Honey do everything it's becoming my only outlet.

Yes right there by Saltgrass. I do know what you mean about driving 45 minutes to chillax and fish. My truck is broke down which leaves us with one car, it gets hard to fish when you only have one car!

They are 5 and 7, planned on taking them. They have been asking to go for couple weeks now. Would be better than them sitting back in room playing WII all alfternoon. They both get out early today was going to pick them up and get line wet but this rain is a pain right now.

Stephen that place below Saltgrass has some Koi in it. I lived in that area for five years literally the next street up from there on the service rd. Try it.
