Fish today. I feel sorry for them having to fish in pristine conditions. They won't know how to act when the wind is blowing 15-20 on the weekend.

True 'dat!! My boat is at Boris Marine right now getting the top of the trolling motor replaced after crackin' it on a bridge pillar during the hurricane on Day 1 of the TSC.

It's just a dang shame people have to fish these type of days instead of working. Man, I love my job.

Ah peeing standing up is over rated. Just tell her I said it was ok to go fishing. She'll listen.

My boss said he wished it would hurry up and get too cold to fish. I said it never gets that cold for long. Here is the look he gave me.

What I have seen my wife do to whole deer herds will make you think twice about trying to pull something over her eyes.

Other than her Birthday, daughters birthday, and Christmas, I'm good for the rest of the year.

She's a good woman that understands the herion like need of the thump of a big ol' crappie.

What a bunch of cry babies .Put your 30 yrs of working in and then you can fish when its pretty or when you want to .Ha .I know how it is .Its just fishing take time to be with family and fish when its time. Lewisville was slow today, should have gone to Texoma.

3 big Hybrids. two Largemouth trash fish, one 8# flathead catfish and about 15 Crappie. Nice day though.

My phone rang but it was a bunch of work .

Let's see...what was my day like. I met Tim at the Vine at 0700. Knew right off the bat that I was overdressed for the weather. We launch and take off across the lake. I look over at Tim and I see this THING staring back at me (he had on one of those cold weather masks...looked like an alien or maybe a bridge person ). It was a 'blue bird' day with no wind and not a cloud to be seen. We go looking for some new areas to fish. First fish was a 3# LMB (not a good start). I ask Tim if he wants to keep any fish today. He says yeah, if we catch any . I tell him we'll only keep 25. We fish ledges, points and finally, brushpiles. We never caught a short all day, but never kept a crappie under 12" either. What a day it was. Big fish, no wind, never tied on a new jig on all day, only saw about three other boats all day. Everything caught today was on the 2" Rocky Top jigs in wht/grn (I have one that I'm sending back to Finny Tribe for a warranty. It only accounted for 28 fish today). What a great day to be not working.................


I know I said we were keeping 25 today....so we can't count either

I got 16 in, I'm trying to figure out how to how to stop it at 20 and go thump heads on a more regular basis.

I cant gripe though, I get to fish most fridays.
