they were catching crappie behind ganger couple of weeks ago. If they are still leting water out it should still be good.

easily caught lots of bait. Had one solid run and pulled the hook. Not releasing as much water, rain didn't keep me away.

went out today to granger and had a lot of small bites. no fish thou. then a bunch of guys and there kids come on the dock and ruined my day. the kids kicked my bait in the water and all most my fishing box. then i asked the guys if they could keep there kids away they just told me to f__k off. some guys just dont know how to respect you when your fishing. where did u catch ur bait at ?

below the dam tons of shad started culling only the bigger ones, 4 throws and probaly had 5-6 doz easy, but i only kept the 2-1/2 in or bigger ones

Poor examples of parents, and unfortunately these kids could grow up to be the same way.. I just hope that these kids will not follow this example and be good sportsmen. The adults were mistakes on their parents part for not practicing birth control...

granger reopened the gates this morning, the siren went off 2 times. A couple of guys were catching really nice blues up to 10 lbs and lots of drum. It was taking them 8 oz weight to stay down.

Erock, when you turn from Famer to Market Road 1331 to Granger Dam road, keep driving on the dam, then right at the end of the dam ,on your right side, in parallel to the Granger Dam road but below the dam, you will see a gated road ( the gate is open),it will end at the Still basin of the dam. You can catch soem decent catfish , white bass early in the morning .
