Fish today. I feel sorry for them having to fish in pristine conditions. They won't know how to act when the wind is blowing 15-20 on the weekend.

My boss said he wished it would hurry up and get too cold to fish. I said it never gets that cold for long. Here is the look he gave me.

You dont know my wife, Fillet!!! What I have seen my wife do to whole deer herds will make you think twice about trying to pull something over her eyes. Other than her Birthday, daughters birthday, and Christmas, I'm good for the rest of the year. She's a good woman that understands the herion like need of the thump of a big ol' crappie. And... Stand up peeing is rated very high in MY book!!!   It's all good.

Let fishing be an outlet not an obsession you will enjoy it more.Ok I will get off my soap box enjoy each and everyday there numbered spend them with friends and family.Darrell

Lewisville was slow today, should have gone to Texoma.
3 big Hybrids. two Largemouth trash fish, one 8# flathead catfish and about 15 Crappie. Nice day though. No drum or carp? Better go back out tomorrow and finish the list.

Wow! Nice day Guy and Tim.  Not one short fish. That is awesome. That is better than catching 100 to get 25 keepers any day.  I like to catch big crappie.

Let's see...what was my day like. I met Tim at the Vine at 0700. Knew right off the bat that I was overdressed for the weather. We launch and take off across the lake. I look over at Tim and I see this THING staring back at me (he had on one of those cold weather masks...looked like an alien or maybe a bridge person  ). It was a 'blue bird' day with no wind and not a cloud to be seen. We go looking for some new areas to fish. First fish was a 3# LMB (not a good start). I ask Tim if he wants to keep any fish today. He says yeah, if we catch any . I tell him we'll only keep 25. We fish ledges, points and finally, brushpiles. We never caught a short all day, but never kept a crappie under 12" either. What a day it was. Big fish, no wind, never tied on a new jig on all day, only saw about three other boats all day. Everything caught today was on the 2" Rocky Top jigs in wht/grn (I have one that I'm sending back to Finny Tribe for a warranty. It only accounted for 28 fish today). What a great day to be not working................. Did I mention that it was a good day to be fishing  Go ahead, rub it in  LOL...wax on, wax off...wait a minute..thats just mr.skinner rubbin' it in...LOL!

Well it wasnt a picnic but yes I did run a 1/2 day trip today. We ran through the swells to get to calm water and luckily found 50 keepers that wanted to get in our cooler. I then drove back across the ocean of waves and went to my dock to clean there limit. It was windy, maybe I would have traded you jobs today. OK MAYBE NOT! Pretend I didnt say that, Lord forgive me please.

I can't imagine but I had a friend once that retired and moved to a golf course and was gonna play everyday. Got bored he said because everyone of his friends still worked. He said them old people were boring. He went back to work.

NO Darrell. Stucky hates me, Brian hates me heck I think CV hates me. I talked Stretch into going with me once. Cliff went fishing with me the other day cause he felt sorry for me. My boat loves me though.

Mark, that's almost exactly what my wife said, but I don't mind mixing it up a little. I might put the guiding on the shelf for a while now and do a little fishing for myself on weekends. Plus, Tim and I want to mix it up a little with the other members of CAT in some of next year's tournaments.

Plus, Tim and I want to mix it up a little with the other members of CAT in some of next year's tournaments. I am glad there are 2 divisions in CAT tournaments.
