I know that whole northeast shoreline of Pelican Island is wadeable from Seawolf Park all up that northeast shoreline like going up towards the Intracoastal Waterway and Sand Island.

I know a guy that wade fishes that area a lot and I'll e-mail and ask him where exactly he has been wading and how he has been doing up there recently. I have been meaning to join him on a trip up there but haven't had a chance lately. Last time I talked to him he said he was wading and catching nice big trout in the 6-8 pound class and flounders and nice reds too but he said the action was hit or miss some days.

when u drive down the road toward seawolf, you will see bunch car parked on the side of the road before you get to the park. park on the side of the road and walk towards the left side and you will see the beach and people wading out there, you can wade on the right side too but the water are rougher there because its closer to the channel...good luck!!!

you can also park down by the pier and wade out to the left of the pier. I was down there the other day and saw quite a few waders out there in the shallow water.

Both sides of seawolf park are good too fish. The wind direction plays a key factor. If the wind is blowing from the north you might as well forget about fishing on the left side.It muddies up the water and you be fishing in knee deep water. The area right next to the two ships is somewhat protected and good to fish when the north wind is blowing.(channel side).
