Steve caught dozens, maybe scores, or even hundreds of fish. After about an hour or so they all got so tired of getting hooked in the mouth all the fish just swam over and crawled up in his lap. He's like the fish-whisperer or something.

Gotta bring my video camera next time.

" all the fish just swam over and crawled up in his lap. "

Yup, and if you have to ask 'is that a fish sitting in your lap or are you just glad to see me ? '

You might be better off just wondering if I've been at the lake ! AND you better be a girl.

So Steve is the Davy Crockett of fishing?

Spake the squirrels unto David Crockett, "Don't shoot, Davy, we're comin' down."

Actually - any of you boys go off thinking of that 'or are you just glad to see me ' stuff

You best just keep it to yourselves. Like they do it in the Army now.

Let's keep or rivers running straight and wholesome.

What you do on the shore is your business. What's 'done in Oklahoma stays in Oklahoma' is fine with me.

Just keep it way up on the shore. I'll park on the Texas side.

Don't be twisting my words around, mister. I can do that plenty good on my own.

Speaking of spaking...name that tune!

Quick question on fishing the dam... Is it better to fly fish when water is high or low? I haven't fished it yet and considering burning some vacation time before end of year and trying it out.

Thanks in advance.

Big Baby

LOW

unless you like to churn and burn casts into fast water with your line working the rocks

For fly fishing, wait two ? hours after generating stops, then wade and or float / boat.

If you wade, wear felt, shuffle step (never lift your feet off the bottom ) and bring a few ways to cut stray mono and braid off your boots.
