Want to take a day canoe-fishing trip on the Brazos below Lake Whitney. Anyone have any info for me as far as places to put in/take out. Is there anyone down that way that will shuttle? Please help!

read every thread in this forum that heads in with the subject word BRAZOS , 50% will be on the middle section

next you'll need to ask perhaps one, but probably no, specific question

keywords will be Whitney, Dicks / Outback Canoe 254 622 8364 and 2114

try it !

Put in at the dam paddle to dicks. Its 8 miles though. And make sure you wear some boots or something because the leaches like to get in between your toes!

good boots and a 20 + ft floating rope.

Floating rope is important, trust me.

Lots of that river wades, just tether the boat over a shoulder, a few yards away from you, and fish.

It is good to get out on a long day.
