Excellent week of guide trips on Cedar Creek

We had an excellent week this week. Lucked out and got some good weather all week. Water temp is holding at 66 until today. Lake level is full. The crappie are biting on brush and docks. Early in the week we caught lots of fish on docks but later in the week I stuck with the brush. We fished jigs all week except Saturday and Sunday because I had a guy bring some and leave them with me. Of course they caught fish too but jigs will work just as good if you learn how to do it.
Here are some pics from the week

These kids had a blast catching whites and crappie and driving the boat too

Saturdays trip had a great time keeping this mess of fish

Fridays trip was a limit of 50 crappie then some sandies

These guys came in from Oklahoma just to catch this limit of 50 slabs!

Here is a mess of crappie and sandies all caught before 11:00 am

Trophy flathead catfish caught on 6lb line, 32 minute fight. Released of course.

Mondays trip of crappie & sandies

I am open this Wednesday, weather man says 5-10 from the south. Should be a great day to be out. Call if you want in on the schedule!

Nice catches Chuck. I also heard you on the radio Saturday. I will be down for our trip on Saturday so leave some crappie in the lake for us to catch.

See ya Saturday morning. I can hardly wait.

Chuck..no doubt some excellent outings. When I get less busy, I'll contact you for an outing outing to learn more about the lakes you fish most often.

fished today in the wind and we got lucky to manage a limit of 50 keepers. Yesterday was much nicer of a day but we only managed 43. Both trips were 1/2 day trips with 2 people fishing brush piles. I am expecting the excellent bite to last through out the rest of the year.
F.Y.I. - Jason and I are open on Monday so we have both boats available. Then Jason has several openings Thanksgiving week. Call us if you want in on the action.

I saw you headed in yesterday as we were headed across the lake. Looked like they were almost coming over your bow. It was plenty rough out there. I had one wave get real close to coming over.

We hid over on the west bank out of the wind the entire trip & got lucky to find some new spots with fish on them. The day couldnt have gone better really, it almost looked like I knew what I was doing.
