A cold front blows in or it rains, thewinds pick up, ETC and you can't really go fishin. Does anyone else have my type of "lucky" streak?

Yes. I can predict the weather by looking at my Work Schedule.

If it's beautiful out, you can bet I'm working. If it's slightly overcast and cool with light showers, I'm off and trying to do work in the yard or on my car. If the cold front blows through with rain and storms, I'm either fishing or trying to go fishing.

When I was around 20 I was always sick when the weather was perfect! LOL

Now I have to work around my staff members being sick when the weather is perfect! 8-((

Brother, sometimes you've got to suck it up and tough it out. I've had some of my most memorable fishing when the wind is blowing and cold like this. The key is to get the wind in your face and get the rod tips low. Wind and waves = awesome.

The high pressure that follows will shut them down.

this morning my friend tony and i went to get estimates on my daughters car repair. we bought the parts instead and he is going to do the work for me (and save aot of money). since she doesnt need the car till friday i left it with him at his house.. i told him since there is no rush lets go take advantage of the baited hole from yesterday . i got out of the truck for about 3 minutes and hopped back in . the wind was strong and cold and the water went up .( where josh was set up is now underwater ) .we both decided its not worth it today ,we can always hit it another day . much more comfortable here in the warm house
