I have a house for sale right over by the creek. Need to run by and check it when I get a chance.

Went for the first time today/tonight and followed my sherpas (Knot at Work, John L) to the honey hole for 4 keepers. The place is definitely very Rowlette Creek-like in many aspects.:(

I was able to see a nice beaver while fishing as it started to get dark. smile

I'll be back again.

Help...is white rock creek by the arboretum? I've been to White Rock Lake near the arboretum and saw a small creek next to there. Is that where people are catching the crappies?

calvin, i pm'ed you.

Report: slow thismorning. saw hundreds of crappie and sandbas and gizzard shad balled up on the bottom.... caught a few here and there, but nothing to really brag about. air pressure is falling so the bite should pick up this afternoon

I keep hearing WR crappie are crappy. Everyone I talk to says there no good from there dont know how true that is but walk way up the creek today and its nasty. Not fisherman stuff nasty ,like trinity nasty with the banks littered with city trash. Dont know if the fish are good or not though???

I found worms in all the fish in Lake Lavon that I caught. I didn't know that there were worms in the crappie at WRC. I guess they're safe if you cook them correctly, but I don't eat them if I see worms.

crappie can not live in polluted water. the lake is cleaner than some of yalls bath tubs. as for the worms, they cook out.

I hit WRC today from 3'ish till dark..fished SSL...caught over 40 fish including throwbacks...no sandies today which was a suprise...nothing but sac-o-lait!..caught well over a limit of keepers but took home 19 slabs for tablefare...my best day at WRC so far..still learning the ropes...all caught on heck of a jig tri colored jigs under bobber and "extra large minnows"
