We had 53 boats from Texas, New Mexico, Oklahoma and Arkansas. The Arkansas father and son team won with 15+ pounds. Great time was had by all!!
Kudos to Thomas Ross and Mike Tadlock for pulling this off.
Wow what about next year?????
I enjoyed meeting a lot of BCB owners and enjoyed the look on the faces of everyone that test rode the new Jaguar.

I was a non boater and it was a simple, yet professionally organized format. Even with the chaos prior.

Tommy, I did keep a close eye on the Jag while you ran to the rescue. The LEO even had to park in front of it for a few minutes making the Vroom Vroom noises in his truck. clap

The Inaugural TBCOE is now history and we believe a success. I am sure Thomas Ross (Organizer) will be along to share some thoughts.

WOW....about sums it up. 54 BassCat Boats launched this morning at Cedar Creek lake in Texas. We had a great time and CONGRATULATIONS to Reed and Bill Prescott from Conway, AR for their WIN!!!! I do not know the official weight but I believe it was almost 15 pounds of fish. First Place prize was $1,000!! (Not to mention some BEAUTIFUL Plaques compliments of Rockwall Marine)

There is so much we could say. We met a LOT of great guys and ladies at TBCOE. Special thanks to James Niggemeyer for being with us. TBCOE was able to present James with $1,100 for his charity of choice YWAM (Youth with a Mission). James Thank You!!! Also a special word of thanks to Tommy Yetts and all of the fine folks at Rockwall Marine. I got to drive Tommy's new Jaguar today with James Niggemeyer and that is one FINE ride!!!!

BassCat, thank you for your involvement with weigh-in bags and hats. (We might have to hit you up for some more since we had many more attend than we had expected originally) Everyone loved the hats and the ladies really liked the pink ones. The BassCat weigh-in bags are ALWAYS great to have. GOOD PR in local tournaments!! "Thank you"

Also, a SPECIAL thanks to BassCat and BASS Elite Series Pros Kevin Short and Terry Butcher for their prize contributions to TBCOE. You guys helped make this Event even more special through your participation. "THANK YOU"

Pictures and video will be posted in the next few days. I have placed a few below for now. The group picture is all of the people who won places 1-11 and Big Bass. There were numerous prizes drawn for as well.

Thank You to ALL of the BassCat Owners who did us proud by being a part of this Event. Hopefully, everyone had a great time and will plan to be a part of the next one. You guys and ladies are a wonderful "Family" to be a part of. Thanks for supporting the making of this vision a reality that Thomas put out there for us 6 weeks ago. WHAT A FUN RIDE IT HAS BEEN!!!!

Mike Tadlock

Tommy, you and your TEAM did us PROUD! Thanks for ALL you guys did to help make this Event a SUCCESS. IT WAS A BLAST!!!

Tommy, that EVEN trade for my Cougar FTD and the new Jag still stands! banana

I big "great job !" to everyone that helped make this event happen. Well done ! waiting for takeoff it was the best fashion show on water - not an ugly boat in sight ! My boater and I met a team that had never been on the lake so we gave them a place to start and they cashed a check (I don't think the spot helped them but it was nice to hear that they had some success 1st time on the lake) and my boater told some fellow cat owners from central texas that had never been on the lake about the tournament and they cashed a check too. I think when the fishing is tough it's nice to not have any pre-concieved notions about a lake - try anything and everything cause it might just work.
We had 4 and were a 1/4 inch from #5 that would have put us in the money. Didn't really find a pattern, caught 2 on shakey head, 2 on rat-l-trap, 1 on spinner bait, 1 on carolina rig - our 4 keepers came on SH, RT and Carolina Rig. Hopefully we were not the first team out of the money (I'd rather not know)

Well!

WOW! What an event, 54 boats and anglers from California, New Mexico, Oklahoma, Louisiana, Arkansas, and Texas! I have a 100 people I need to thank. I think people that helped put together the tournament was as deep as the entrants. First and foremost, Mike Tadlock. I was unfamiliar with Mike before the tournament. He treated me like we were life long friends. Mike shows why BCB is like a family. He was there from start to finish and really made the tournament special. I look forward to a long relationship with Mike. Thanks bud!

Second, Tommy Yetts and Rockwall Marine. Tommy was there to bounce ideas off constantly and to keep me cool. His advice was always perfectly timed. He brought the Jag, the grill, and a rescue truck! (I broke down on my way down there Friday night and he came and rescued me.) Tommy also helped supply us with all the BCB apparel. Any angler who did not recieve a weigh in bag or hat, give Rockwall marine a call.... HA! Just kidding. Send me a message and give me your shipping information.

Eldon Stout was our tournament director and did a great job. His experience showed very early in the morning and he put on a flawless weigh in.

Blake, Kernan, Weber, Andy Nyuen, Lacy, James Niggemeyer all kept me sane throughout the weekend. Blake was huge for me and really helped me make it through the day. Thanks for taking my mind off of everything. James was an great testimony for Christ, his sponsors and BCB. You wont meet a more humble, kind, and caring guy. Heck, he went to the store and bought hot dogs for us! Your participation was a great bonus for our anglers and we wish you the best of luck at the classic.

Our sponsors were huge. They allowed every angler to walk away with some great prizes and some new products. Youve not only donated to an amazing cause (YWAM), but a great community. We look forward to a long relationship with you all. Your product will reach anglers in California, New Mexico, Oklahoma, Arkansas, Louisiana, and Texas!!!!! Thanks to the TFF for allowing us to advertise on your site. Keeping it in the bass section undoubtedly help us get the numbers we recieved.

Thank the Lord for giving everyone safe travel, safe days on the water, and for such amazing weather.

If I have forgotten anyone, I am extremely sorry. This has been a long weekend with a lot squeezed into it.

Last but not least!! Thanks to BCB for making such an amazing boat. Heres to BCB owners tournament in 2010!

Although the wind was up and the fishing was tough, we also had a great time fishing this T. Thanks to Thomas, Mike, Tommy Y & Eldon from Rockwall Marine, Bass Cat, and all of the participants on this inaugural event. The casual atmosphere helped make this T so enjoyable and even with a few glitches with the registration due to Thomas' break-down, Mike's improvised sign up at the motel made for an easy check in and launch on Saturday.

Congrats to the Prescotts.. I knew I should of had the fajitas!

Great job guys! Looking forward to next year!
