Haven't heard much lately, anyone know what's going on there for the LMB's?

Jim was there Saturday for the first time ever. I caught 3, two on a Red Eye Shad Sexy Shad and one on a c-rig. Watched a guy's wife catch one over 4 lbs on a t-rig in about 3 feet of water. I missed a couple more on c-rigs. Heard some guys talking on the ramp that the spinnerbait bite was off, I never got a sniff on one, one of them said he was dropshotting. Sorry I cannot be more help, nice lake and I will go back.

Caught about 10 last Saturday. Biggest was about 3 lbs. Not too much action after 7 am. Fished grasslines and points. The hydrilla/grass was bad. It was up to the surface about 20 ft out from the grass on the banks. All but one caught on t-rigged lizzards and tubes. Several hit the bait as it was on top of the grass close to the surface.

went thursday 11-12 had a decent top water bite early on that faded quickly as the sun rose then switched over to plastics the bite was real soft but did manage a few more. My fishing buddy Travis didnt get much sleep the night before so we called it quits around lunch, but it it was a productive day. the lake level is still up,clarity to 18",water temp in the mid 70s, grass is abundandt, I still feel that the larger bass are hanging out in 8-15' of water

Jim,

Was out last Thursday with my nephew and brother in law. Did pretty good on flukes around the grass and reeds until noon. Afternoon was pretty tough but we did catch a few on TX rig worms. Seems to me the fish are still roaming chasing bait but they were shallower than the last time I was out in October.

I like to see that there is a good bite there. I will be coming home for T-day and spending lots of time close to Fayette. I hope to make a trip here and Eagle Lake getting some Geese.
