i went to dennison dam on Wed morning, got skunked.

type in sherman in google maps..scroll or zoom into texoma, then find where 377 goes over texoma..its a snap, west side of the lake. you may find a spot or two off the maps..

Fish it at night! I think night fishing is one of the most overlooked features of Texoma.

They might be catching them over there. But them stripers are deff below the dam at texoma. Few weeks ago it was insane.

I'm new to striper fishing but went to dam last week and got 2 small one on rattletrap. I don't not see anyone catching any fish. Then I got skunked 2 day after that. Maybe I do something wrong but the fishing not good.
I PMed that WILSONBIDY to show me how to fish 377 an meet him out there and he caught a few decent 7 or 8 pound fish. Most fish are 17inch. I got 1 the entire time. Cast, cast cast we cast about 1000 times. We caught them on a 3/4 oz jig with zoom flook color green. But wilson was very nice and show me. He sold me his rod for 100 bucks.

I am planning a trip to Texoma some time after March 20 (will turn 64 and exempt from OK license requirements). Either the 377 bridge or the OK side below the damn sound like good places to start.
Anyone care to give up a few tips on catching stripers, catfish, or what ever else may be caught?
It is a 4+ hour trip up there from Marshall, so I won't be planning on going too often but would like enough info to make the trip successful

went to the dam and caught 2 dinkers. then went to the durant bridge in OKL yesterday evening and caught about 20 18inches in 2 hrs. kept 10 and left.

377 Sucks! I've tried that place, but no good. All there is out there is a bunch of gator gars and drums. I'd rather fish at near the dam, i've had better success there.

It was a great run while it lasted...I wouldn't bother with denison dam thers no fish down there...

I am not planning a little vacation to the area this spring and don't want to know what they are not biting on.

Be my first vacation in 7 years, so I would hate to go up there with out a clue.
