Well Ray Bob is in good shape. We are still a little over 1 1/2 feet high. They are pulling water too. The lake has really cleared up. Even IDB is clearing. Water temps are still fairly warm. We saw 66 degree water today. The fishing has been either really good, ok, or slow depending on the day and what species you are chasing.

The black bass fishing has been ok to slow for me. Before I left for the nationals they were biting pretty good. The last couple days were slow to ok. For the most part the fish are shallow. Coming between the millfoil and the new flooded vegetation. Ron caught his personal best on a fluke. She weighed 8lb 7oz's.

For the most part we are catching them on flukes, spinnerbaits, chatterbaits, 1/5 crankbaits, and traps. We are catching most of the fish around channel swings and secondary points. Mark got this nice keeper on a crank and she flat ate it.

The sand bass are going NUTS. It is very easy to get a mess of fish right now. I cleaned 75 today and a few nice crappie and even a channel cat today. We are catching them on slabs and color doesn't even matter. All 3 of my clients today were using different colors and it didn't matter. The crappie came on jigs and minnows on brush piles.

For those that have done a catfish trip with me in the past, they are going nuts as well. Fished for them two days ago and we hammered them. No pics as we let them all go and didn't even bring them in the new ride (trying to keep the new carpet clean). We had 2 around 20lbs and several other nice fish over 10lbs. Fun for sure.

Thanks and hope this helps.

Take care.

Dannie
