Lynn Creek Marina is a usual spot, but weekends can be crowded with the bar near the fishing barge.

Well, the marina @ Lynn Creek is tough to beat but I like the spot on the "steps" just past the marina if you were to keep walking to the right. I walk just past the weedline and cast out about 30yds. Sweet corn is hard to beat there. I caught 89 fish in one month there and not a single one over 10#. They have grown a bit ........

To fish The Steps- Park at the marina and walk through the slip owner parking to where the steps are. Fish the area inside the jetty for the most comfortable option. You can fish all the way down Lake Ridge PKWY, but the kiddos won't have as much fun.

I am fishing Cedat Hill State Park not as many fish but they seem to be much larger than the oasis side. Go to the concrete jettys and bait with sweet corn. They like cherry boilies and sweet corn as well as wheaties with strawberry pop. Have fun and you don't have to cast a mile they will, and I promise you, will come to you.

Also at the State Park try The Kidfish Swim.
Through the gate, go Left at the Stop Sign. Stay on that road (lots of twists and turns) until it dead ends. Go Right at the Dead End and then turn Left into the immediate Parking Lot. Park before the restroom. Walk down the hill and fish on the little point.

My best luck has been with Sweetcorn and Maize.
