Took the new boat (22') out Sunday. Put in at San Leon and ran down to Dickenson Bayou. Great test for handing in rough water. Not much to show for the abuse, 6 undersize trout. Want to launch more near Texas City next Saturday, I launched before Ike on the dike but guess that is no longer an option. So here is the question, where would you recommend to launch and buy bait.

There is a boat launch on the levy, I don't know details but I remember seeing it this summer.
