hey that was me!! haha well it was nice to meet u. never caught ur name though. That buffalo was a good fight. i ended up snaggin a buffalo too sunday morn. Wylie crappieman was tearin up the crappie haha and i was right along with him!! ill be goin out there in the morn sometime this week (during the week) so it wont be soo many peoples there. Seems like there slowing the water up...

I tried casting under it, but I just didn't have the distance that i needed.

fished from 5 am till 11. crappie were not cooperating today. only took 4. caught 2 hybrids, but they were throw backs.... almost kept the smaller one. thought it was a sandie at first till i took a second look. it was 13 inches and looked almost like a perfect sandie. one line was broken but had the hybrid tooth patch.... Now the sandies however, were killer! pretty much every cast.... lot of magnums in the bunch as well.... out of the 20 - 30 people there, about 6 got their limits as well. everyone was pretty nice today. no fights or yelling at anyone.... good day to hit the water! Michael, to bad you have to go back to reality and go back to work....

i was out there from around 8 to 1. the fishing was really good. all the sandies you want and a few crappie .when do yall think we will start to see some hybrid action. going to try agian in the morning.( i hope )

the hybrid action is already here! they are very picky... i usually catch my hybrid on handman jigs lol and light tackle

I got there this morning just a little after daylite. Threw back more sandies than my arms could reel, came home and cleans 13 eyeballer crappie. All caught on "handman jigs lol and light tackle."

well, sonfish u would have been the only one catching them today. i saw hundreds of sandies but no hybrids.

I use a coke bottle spooled with 50lb mono test and throw out 1/8 crappie jigs.

Action can't get no lighter than that.

hey cajun. the most popular bait is a basic jig. you could probally use anything in your tackle box and catch fish. caught my limit today in less than 2 hours with many throw backs. if you like to catch alot of sandbass then get down there. didnt see many crappie today or hybrids. i did manage to land 2 big buffalo on my ultra light tackle with 4lb test.

I am throwing a 15' with 40# mono with 4oz sinker with 1/32 jig on top of the wall. I catch sandbass on every cast. I cast a mile with my pole ...

sandbass is too easy its stops becoming fun.

it does get boring there when you catch one every cast.... it would be a lot better if the big hybrids would show... i know they are down there.....
