Guys, for those of you coming in on Friday...is anyone up for meeting at Ochoa's Mexican Restaurant in Malakoff (on Hwy 31 close to the intersection of Hwy 31 and 198)for dinner? The Salsa is EXCELLENT.Heading south on 198 turn right (West) on Hwy 31 the Restaurant is right down on the left. There is plenty of parking.

Who's in????

Kammans has burritos that are alright. They also can cook breakfast but unless you like everything deepfried barf I would just stick too burritos or breakfast sandwich's. Theres a Mc'donalds in malakoff.

Let's shoot for 7:00 for dinner. That will give those driving in a good shot at being with us even if they are running behind they can still come.

There is a McDonald's that opens at 4:00am in Malakoff at the corner of Hwy 31 and 198. It is part of the Exxon Station. That's about it that I know of for breakfast. You are only 10 minutes from the ramp when at the McDonalds. The best fuel prices I saw were at Brookshires right across the street from the McDonald's.

I'm getting excited. Right now it looks like we will have somewhere between 35-40 boats (if everyone shows who has committed. That number could go up between now and Saturday)

Looking forward to this guys.

I will try and make this one if our mill shutdown ends on Friday as planned. I will be registering at the ramp. Is there a cutoff time for registering?

Should have read the message thoroughly. Probably won't make it to dinner.

Beautiful on Cedar Creek this afternoon. Baitfish are everywhere and THICK!. Several BCB on the water pre-fishing. Already had the chance to meet a few nice guys on the water with some really nice BassCat's. Signs are up as promised to help guide you to the ramp from 198 and Hwy 31. Kamman's is FULL. Everyone there have been GREAT to work with.

I have alerted Ochoas to expect between 20-30 in a back dining room tomorrow night at 7:00pm. Hopefully all of you that can will come join us and get to know some fellow BassCat Owners.

There were fish caught today and it seems the fishing has picked up since last week. It appears the weather will be good with the wind kicking up a little as well.

We will ask you in advance for your patience at the ramp. We will be directing boats in and to parking to make this as smooth as possible. Please be aware Saturday morning that another 50+ boat tournament will be heading our way as we are leaving. Just a heads up...SAFETY FIRST.

Let's all make this a GREAT Event to remember!!!

Mike Tadlock

Please feel free to call should you need help getting to the tournament sight. 817.880.5591

Quick Announcement:

Guys who are familiar with the lake. If you wouldnt mind launch at the 198 public ramp and coming over and beaching your boat in the morning. We will be very tight on space at fishermans wharf. If you are very familiar with the area and dont mind doing this, we would be very thankful.
