Was there last weekend, heard that the gates were shut on Thurs. afternoon. Hard to tell the bite was subtle and slow, fish the 515 bridge for numbers but not much on size. Good luck.

Gates are closed. Water is clearing. Fishing was tough last weekend. Hope it gets better this weekend.

Went there this past Sat. and only one fish in the boat. Missed two others. Very tuff right now. No bait fish up shallow. I did not see another fish boated all day.

The wife and I fished Sat.and Sun. and probably caught twenty or so Sat. With the biggest being a skinny five pounder and caught about thirty on Sun.
All were in about seven to ten feet next to where the water dropped off to fifteen plus and on the ends of bridges on the windy side and were caught on shad colored crank baits and green pumpkin centipedes carolina rigged, we moved several times and always went back to the same spots an hour or so later and caught more.
One spot had lots of six plus pounders chasing shad out of the water, a couple almost hit the boat but we never could get one to bite, it was insane see lots of big fish schooling chasing shad and coming completley out of the water and very disapointing not catching any of them.

I fished there all last week and found better luck in the smaller lakes in the area. The main patteren that we had the best luck with was flipping the docks with plastics. No wind on Fork is a bad thing!

I drove by the dam on the 30th and the gates were open and then went by on the morning of the 31st and they were all closed. I bet they have been closed since the 31st. Things should be getting good by now. I am heading out there Saturday and may fish Sunday as well.
