Went out to Grapevine on Saturday and had a blast. Got out there kinda late, only fished 3pm to dark but man the numbers were good. Caught 25-30 between my father-in-law and myself most of them in between 12 and 18 inches but very healthy and fun to catch. They are definately feeding up for wintertime right now and already getting heavy. Had a few over the slot in the 4-5# range. He was able to go back without me on Sunday and fished 1pm to dark and caught 14 more including one that was just over 7#. I live only 15 min from the lake and prefer to go elsewhere most of the time but I will be spending a little more time out there after this weekend for sure.
