Earlier in the Week, got a bit of RARE free time so i hit up my Bachman buddy from MANY years, Bobby, loaded up my little boat, and off we went in search of crappie! We found em, but they were not as cooperative as we like, but still, for a couple hours of killing time between jobs, can i really complain? Especially on some of the most perfect and glorious weather imaginable! What the heck, caught Lunch!Bobby with a nice slab!Bobby with yet another nice slab!

I finally get one!

How about that! I get another one!

And, finally, my two, awaiting the fillet knife and an appointment with some potatoes and a salad!

One side note, i am not catching as many fish in my spot as a few weeks ago but they sure have gotten bigger! I'll take it!

He said boat, rudy almost always gives you all the info you need, if he was banking it he would have been under a light and over a culvert I bet.

did that for several nights this week, Shane, and caught a bunch but all small.

Almost forgot, ALL fish were caught on TriColor Whatajigs from Academy, on 1/16th oz UNPAINTED jig heads, of course!

The night fish are in about 7 ft of water. Day fish in 15 ft and varying the bite between 12 and 15

Even when fishing is slow-it sure beats doing most anything else!
