My plan was to fish nothing but docks today. Well I only fished one! It was loaded!

Released all the healthy fish after pic and cleaned a few.

No luck on the few docks that we hit today, but we killed them on the brush piles that we were able to get on.

Nice haul Jason. I was going to post a separate report, but as long as the thread is started.......

Fished from 9A-2P. One fish came off of brush, the rest from docks. I threw back lots of small keepers, choosing to stick with larger fish. Still managed to keep a limit, the first time in quite a while.

Called Leftout and told him the docks were on. When I caught caught up with him later, he had 10 or 11 in the boat from one dock.

All fish were caught on 1/16 oz. Grey/Chartreuse

What part of the lake were you on? I typically fish Southeast, Clear Creek and the Star Harbor area.

Thank you Steve, I was going to that area Thurs when I realized my gas tank was not as full as I thought. Good to know if I would have gotten there the Crappie might have been there too. I am going back Wed I think, will try that area then. Hope they don't move. eeks

Wouldn't you know....Sheldon and I went to CC yesterday, and never fished a dock. We hit brushpiles on the south end of the lake, but Sheldon still took home about all the fish that he wanted. In retrospect, I think hitting docks would have been easier though. We had a limit of nice crappie, but had to work our tails off to get em.

Got a chance to shoot some docks today at Cedar creek..
Boy was that fun, Mike Andrews and my self filled his livewell..
Only fished two brush piles and the rest off docks... Heavy 7 would have been close to 11 1/2 lbs... Total was 50 (a limit apiece)........ Also got to meet CCBIRDDOG MAN, his wife, and Capt. BLY...
Thanks for the guide trip Mike....

Sounds like you guys did good Matt. After our trip this morning Jason and I went back out to only shoot some docks and find some new fish. Weather was nice and we even caught a few fish.

And a "guide trip" it was.....

Matt is a better dock shooter than I am and with the lake full gettin' under the docks was plenty tough..especially since I was the "guide" this trip. Still had a great time and my freezer is happy again!

Yep after talking to Steve I hit one dock came away with 11 nice keepers 1 weighing 1.8# and left them bitting. Must have a bad battery cause trolling motor died and that pretty well ended my fishing for the weekend.
