I have some openings. Was at PK yesterday and put almost 40 fish in the boat before 9:30am (catch and release). Only 3 small fish, biggest around 7lbs. Last three trips to PK have been similar. This is the lake to go to.



Granbury is putting out some nice fish. Limits don't come too often and most of the fish are under 18 inches. However there are alot of fish in the 3 to 6lb range. A 11 lb fish was released this am. Here are a couple pics from two recent Granbury trips. We boated about 20 to 25 stripers in both of these trips. Here some pics of some of the keepers.

It's good to see PK rebounding

michael, you fishing lakes or rivers??

I am fishing the main lake on Whitney, Granbury and PK. Granbury is muddy except for the lower ends (at that is where the fish are congregating). I will however start taking trips in the river above Whitney towards the end of the month. I look to catch numerous big double digit stripers running up river this year.

The Brazos river above Granbury near Tin Top I guarantee will be hot as soon as it clears. Sandbass will be stacked up near deeper holes feeding on the abundance of bait. Stripers will be there arriving there also probably around the 1st week in December.

PK fish are all over however the midlake area from Sandy Beach to Costello and probably beyond are producing right now. PK did not get all the water the other lakes received and the lake is clear and that is why it is a good choice right now!

Update 11-08-09. More Granbury Fish. A little slow this morning but here is Randy Bernhoft with some good fish. You can catch fish on Granbury.

PK continues to be on fire. Last trip caught over 40 fish before 8:30 in the am. Went through 90 baits working 6 rods continuously. Every fish was a keeper, biggest again around 7lbs.

Have openings if anyone is interested. Can also go to Whitney, Benbrook, Granbury and Lewisville.

Back on PK today. Fishing was really good, however not 40 fish before 8:30am. Back to the dock at 9:30, Lots of catch and release, but here is what we kept.
