This is one of my favorite dessert recipes. It's so simple and doesn't take long at all.
You will need: 13 x 9 inch pan (2) 8 oz cans crescent rolls (2) 8 oz blocks cream cheese 2 cups sugar 1 stick butter 1 tsp vanilla 1/2 tbsp cinnamon 1 egg white
Preheat oven to 350. Lightly grease bottom and sides of pan.
In first bowl, mix together cream cheese, vanilla and 1 1/2 cups sugar until smooth.
In second bowl, mix 1/2 cup sugar and cinnamon.
In third bowl, melt 1 stick of butter.
Roll out one can of crescent rolls in pan and smooth out. Pour cream cheese mix in pan and spread. Roll out another can of crescent rolls on top. Brush with egg white. Pour butter and cover evenly. Sprinkle with sugar/cinnamon mix.
We love sopapilla cheesecake. We will definitely try this one.
