I had a good morning, well maybe even a great one. Caught 16 legal hybrids and quite a few big sand bass. All fish were released and all were caught on the usual stuff from Moe's Tackle, 4" glow-in-the-dark sassy shad that had been dyed using chartreuse Spike-It on a 1 ounce shad shaped head.
Good to see a bunch of folks out, even saw Cedar Creek Kevin.
George didn't exactly see me. He actually schooled me for about 15 minutes catching about a schamzillion hybrids to my two. I guess you could say he caught a lot Moe than me. I tried a number of spots that AM before finding the party at the dam. It's a lot of fun getting to know the regulars on the forum and the water. Now I even know who "Snaggin Steve" is and don't have to call him "Big Red" anymore. Man you can see his boat for miles.
