Welcome to the forum Misshooker. It is great to have another lady on TFF. I am glad you get the grandkids out fishing. That is good for them, and you too. My grandma took me out once fishing, and we got a bunch of sunfish when I was little. I will never forget the fun. I don't have any grandchildren yet. My two are still in their later teens. But I will certainly take my grandkids fishing, you can bet on that!

Yes, those are days ya never forget. I never knew my maternal grandfather, he died before I was born. My paternal grandfather fished a lot when he was younger, but he was older when I was born. My brother and dad were big anglers. My maternal great grandfather used to fish everyday but Sundays. So I guess it is in the blood. I will teach my grandkids how to conventional fish first, then fly fish too. I may even show 'em how to tie flies one day. Mainly I guess that depends on how old I am when ever I finally get grandkids...no rush. My kids are still teens...lol. I taught them both how to fish since they were little. I took them camping too. I think it is a good hobby for kids, and can help keep them out of trouble too.

Yes i was just told a story on Sunday of how when i was little and my step-dad would take me and my brother fishing that every time i would catch a fish my brother would have this sour puss look on his face like he was mad. LMAO! good times....
Growing up fishing in the family holds LOTS of memories for me. My dad used to put my baby carriage thing under the stearing wheel of the boat because not having a baby sitter for us didn't stop him from fishing! LMAO!!!

Misshookers computer is acting up right now, so she is unable to write to everyone at this time. She is hoping to have it back up and running ok in the very near future. Misshookers grandkids are 8 and 10 I think.
