Thinking about going out to one or the other tomorrow morning for a few hours because they are the closest lakes to me. Never been bass fishing out at Lavon and never done much good out at Hubbard. Where would y'all go?

I've always preferred Lavon, but I'm generally in the minority on that.

Been a while since I fished it, but I hear it has been tough with the gates open.

I think I would move if Lavon and Hubbard are my two closest lakes

Even with the gates open we did pretty good
on Lavon the other day fishing shallow. Last weekend we found fish in 20-25 ft on Hubbard, go figure.
