Could anyone that uses Kayaks tell me the most comfortable vest to wear. Are Kayak vests coast guard approved?

Heart of Texas Kayak in Grapevine has a good selection of PFD's made especially for paddlers. They're cut high at the waist and deep under the arm pits.
