I am thinking of going catfishing on choke canyon this weekend and take advantage of the nice weather. Has anyone been there lately?

As promised, your fishing report for choke. We got there on the water about 7:30. Started fishing in deep water by the willow flats using Lewis King Select, shrimp, and chicken liver. Caught about 50 fingerlings and had to move to try to get something of any size.
We finally got on some pan size 13 – 18 inch blues and channels. Also had jug lines out with goldfish. Gar gave us a lot of problems with that. At the end of the day we kept 18 fish all but one were small, 13 – 18 inch. We did get one on a jug line that was 17 lbs. They were doing real good on Lewis King, shrimp, and chicken liver.
