I saw a brief article on the ABA website about the BWS Championship at Dardenelle but no listing of how the first day went. Does anyone have news on how any of the Texas guys did the first day?

I haven't heard any results, but will look for some now. I live on Dardanelle and fish there all the time and I can tell you first hand that fishing is tough with a capital T right now. It has been this way most of the year. NO one I know has an explanation for the decline, but this lake used to fish really good.

Now that's funny, I don't care who you are! (but so true) Looks like it even sucked worse today!!
Scott Dean and Russell Lee zeroed!
If the two of them can't find a keeper the lake probably should be drained and filled in with concrete.

Dardanelle has a 15" minimum. No slot. The leader is on fish 2 days in a row. He is from Arkansas.

Scott and Russell were probably swinging for the fences on the second day. Can't blame 'em you don't get this close to the Classic and just settle for a check.

Looks like Todd Pierce is still in 12th! East Texas is being represented very well up there.

Scott and Russell were probably swinging for the fences on the second day. Can't blame 'em you don't get this close to the Classic and just settle for a check. Your not going to swing for the fences when 5 more lbs will get you into the final day. There arn't going to be any 25 lb sacks turning the standings upside down. The lake just purely sucks!
