if you do the gill cutting thing you need to cut the gills and put them back in the water in your livewell or a bucket either one, just as soon as you cut the gill so the heart will keep on pumping until all the blood is gone. almost every drop of blood will be gone from their bodies when you do it like that. I ain't got enough room in my boat with all the peoples I carry with me most of the time to do the ice chest thing. I'd have to carry a 150 qt ice chest at least
