Went to Belton yesterday to do some crappie fishing. Fished 6 hours without a single crappie. One catfish, white bass and a black bass was all that was caught. Two weeks prior I caught 23 nice crappie. Any idea as to what has happened to the bite besides, 7 ft additional water, full moon, gates open--releasing water?????

Has anyone done any good on Stillhouse since the water has come up? The ramp at the bridge is full of floating timber. Any ideas as to when this mess will be cleared in order to fully use the ramp again (small path exist--not safe)??

Launch at union Grove. Fish standing timber in the river bed. 8-15' deep. Use jigums grasshoppers, or jigums pink/white/chart. Very slow presentation. Again, very slow!!!
