Took my 5th trip to the Big Lake this week. What a differance. The past 4 trips were in the rain and wind. The fishing was great. This time the weather was perfect for humans but not as good for fish. Although we caught a lot of fish early and late the midday bite was tough. During the windy-rainy days we were able to throw top waters most of the time. Swim baits and 2oz slabs were what we had success on during clear days.
