I am a first responder in Bell County, if you do not know yet, gunman(s) opened fire on troop in Ft. Hood Readiness center on troops deploying this week. Gunman(s) are believed to be troops. 12 confirmed dead included is one gunman, 31 injured confirmed. Prayers needed for troops, family and friends. I am on alert, will post more tomorrow or later tonight. As a Emergency Medical Tech, former military, father and a christian man, all thoughts and prayers are needed and appreciated!

All the wounded have been taken to Scott & White hospital its about 6 miles from my house,they have shut down the ER to the public and are asking anyone who can to give blood.

posting from phone, sorry for abbreviations. total of 13 dead, 30 injuried. among dead, one officer, injured one medic and atleast 4 more officers. no children involved. other 2 suspects questioned and released. shooter was being investigated already for usual behavior. was a med. dr. of army psychriatrics stress for soldiers and was about to be deployed to afghanistan. still woounded in critical condition in 4 different hospitals. will update more when known.

soldiers from multiple divisions. thursday is make up day for all troops at readiness center and erly off for troops for family time. CID just confirmed shooter NOT dead. he ihas been under constant custody at scott and white hospital and that was confirmed by CID and local LT (my step-father) . 12 dead and 31 wounded. 3 retained for questioning but released and believed to be a lone shooter at this time. I have seen FBI texas rangers homeland security CID and other unkown agencies at ER and in killeen. don't know much more at this time. Lt. Gen. will do a national conference to all in morning. I will wirk my inside sources in law inforcement and ER for more details in morning. I am wore out. will try and post more tomorrow. thank all for prayers. if u r local hos have depleatesd blood resources, overwhelming response fromall communitys for blood and actually had turn some away this evening due to not enough workers to take it all. but will be back open in morning and need more blood. once again posting from phone and apoligize for mispellings and abbreviations.

The internet this morning says the shooter is not dead as of yet. But in critical condition. Thought to have been dead and should have let him die. Shot 4 times but was still alive. If he does live public hanging or worse should be in the works. Show the world that this will not be tolerated. But then the pres. will probabaly not want him harmed or questioned very hard either. If he lives, says he is under arrest and recieveing medical attention.

Shooter is alive and death is not imminent. I guess I will be seeing him when he is ready to leave hospital and come stay at my lovely work. Man I hope God lets me keep my personal feelings in check when this heathen gets here!!!!!

Mark, I would be surprised if you get to see him at all. I bet the fed's are going to take him somewhere else.

Our men and women in uniform need our undivided attention in prayer all the time but especialy right now. We feel so safe on our own soil until something like this happens to remind us we are always going to be under attack in the world we live in today! Thank you Lord for the men and women in uniform that make it possible for me to do what I do everyday with little or no worry about my safety. Amen
