I was at Placid last week-end, nothing but dinks.

looks like the bite finally cooled off. Dang! I was out a couple of times last week and twice this week. I was averaging about 21-25lbs a trip (5 fish) but today there was no current, and no good fish. I got 1 that was just shy of 5lbs, about 6 or 7 keepers up to 2 1/2, and about 15 dinks. Hadn't caught a dink in 2 weeks. I was catching 20 fish a day with an average weight of about 3lbs and several up to 7. No more though. It was good while it lasted. I hope it picks back up

Yes sir, it is. There are Lakes Dulap, McQueeney and Placid all on the Guadalupe between the I-35 and I-10 area just east of San Antonio. Small lakes but sometimes good bass fishing when the skiers get through with it. smile
